...... but a massive project!
I wish I had the time, space, and money to take this on: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Serie...2169812298 There were never many of these, I wonder how many still exist. |

A worthwhile restoration though, it would be nice to see one restored!

Absolutely, and I reckon that if you in effect grafted a better 86" on the front of the Eezion rear it might not be too overwhelming. It's the rear that makes this special.
It would be interesting to see when back together. Does Dunsfold have one of these? It would be a good home for it. |

No, I don't think they do?
Let's hope it does get to see the road again, and not just broken for spares! It looks remarkably complete, considering how long it's obviously stood for. I would love it, but sadly I have finally run out of space ![]() Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I'm sure I've seen AA versions of them for cars.

The AA did have them, although I've only ever seen one in series 3 form. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

This would suit my friend in Germany he already has an eclectic collection of older Land Rovers including a couple of Tempo's, a 6X6 170 chassis converted by Reynolds Broughton a couple of unusual 130's and a Fifth wheel Defender for pulling his 1960's caravan.

New battery, drop of juice and she'll be away
![]() I'm guessing the front axle must have used the tracta type 80" front axle CV joints to give smooth steering on tight corners. |
