[Wanted] Stubborn father in law and his disco, rear calliper

My father in law is in his 70's and still plods about in his beat up 200 disco, we noticed recently that he had a leak on the rear drivers side wheel, pretty obvious leaky hub seal, after removing the wheel we noticed the disc was very rusty and obviously meant there was an issue with the calliper, now he's the type of guy who will always try to repair what he has before replacing, the piston is seized solid so it needs a new one, but oh no I can't just buy a new one that's too easy he insists on fitting a used replacement,

So I'm after a rear driver side calliper for a 200 discovery on a 91 H without abs.

Any help would be much appreciated in keeping the old codger happy and mobile

Get him a new piston and seal kit, then he can use that old caliper again.

As above, if you have the time then give them a rebuild with genuine seals and stainless pistons.

Swinfield Coopers are in Leicester, they would probably sell callipers if you'd rather fit new ones.

Did think about fitting new pistons and seals, but when I looked at costings 12 quid for a kit or as little as£33 for a new calliper off flea bay it makes no sense to me to buy either used or repair,
He's such a stubborn old

, might just buy him a new calliper and paint it brown and say it's a used one, his eyes are pretty poor he'd probably not notice
