Baldrick would resort to sticking the capsule in his mouth and pouring hot water through it. I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes....

We had a similar problem with a build up of water deposits. Not saying it's dirty but a clean and a rebuild may do the job Monty-2015 2.2 110 XS Puma Station Wagon

Yes, will always give something a second chance before binning. It's leaking into the body, so may well be the build up you mention blocking the pipes!! To be tackled later.... Monsieur Le Grenadier

I run a sachet of Oust through mine every month/6 weeks, it really cleans out the limescale well (be sure to flush it through well after though!)
was recommended to me by the local Starbucks chap that I know, they use it in their store machines when the proper starbucks supplied stuff runs out. Makes the machine perform like new again... it's amazing how slow the flow gets gradually. ![]() Click image to enlarge |

one should always have at least 3 ways of making coffee... you need to plan for triple redundancy !
![]() I have 3 x Bialetti, 2 x cafetiere and for absolute emergencies a tin of instant Azera coffee |

Diesel Jim - Excellent tip - used the oust at the weekend and rescued my machine from the brink of failure.
Cheers!! |

Mmm Once you get used to the taste it's quite nice. I've had 3 sachets this morning. I feel 30 years younger ![]() Might pop some in the truck ![]() |

That is a shocker
![]() Pop out to Macdonalds? For 1.19 they serve a surprisingly good cup of coffee and much better than anything instant (especially if you like it black). |
