ABS weirdness
Every so often it seems that the ABS kicks in for no apparent reason - this mostly occurs when I lift my foot of the pedal, from a temporary stop (ie stopped at a roundabout, stopping while reversing).

As I lift my foot of the brake pedal it goes "boingggggg" and then all is well.

Very strange - I've never had this happen in any other ABS-enabled car that I have driven.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Normal, don't think it's the ABS and only seems to occur in Pumas. You also can get it if you go over a big bump, it has been discussed here before but I can't find the thread.

Yep, since Day 1. It's not the ABS, me things it's the clutch pedal spring or something... --

Mine does it too.. Definitely the ABS / TC kicking in. I just thought it was a normal quirk of the Defender.. ... ,-------,
