Lake district boxing day
Going from the west to elterwater, 0930 start. Space for three vehicles.

This is a really good route and with the snow should be fun. Please only confirm if you know you can do it. I'll send coordinates and more details to those who sign up. Time wise we should be finished by about 1630 assuming 45 mins to an hour for lunch. Please note that there are quite a few lanes involved and we'll need to keep up a reasonable pace to finish in the light

Decent all terrain tyres is all you really need. There is little real risk of damage to vehicles unless driving recklessly. Several sections are a bit tricky and having to undertake recovery is a distinct possibility.

I'll be travelling from near Preston.

no chance Laughing we were too busy with the winch Laughing

seriously, the light was non-existent, and we were a little pre-occupied with things. 200 metre 1:3 slopes of sheet ice were concentrating our minds somewhat Laughing
