Bonnet/Wing Chequer Plate
When I purchased my Defender 90, it already had chequer plate on the wing tops and bonnet, screwed on.

I have tried to remove the plate from the bonnet just to see the condition underneath, but it didn't want to come off.

Is it common/normal to put some kind of adhesive underneath the chequer plate?

Depending on how long its been on it could just been the foam gasket under the plate that is holding it down. That is if there is a foam gasket under it. Russell

I've seen people use silicone underneath and around the edge of chequer plate, that would make it stick well DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy
