dash removal question before i break it!
Need to remove the centre dash to fit a in/out temp, i understand its just the 2 torx screws. Do I have to pull off (fnarr fnarr)the heater slider and air curc knobs or are they part of the panel ?

It's all part of the fascia. It's easier as well if you remove the radio first.

any special tools needed to extract the radio ?

You can get the tool from halfords as its just two wire legs for about £6. I used a couple of pop rivets, did the job.

England 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Java Black
i've taken out the radio and the 2 torx screws and still found a fair bit of resistance, will it help pulling in a particulare direction rather than straight out, and how many clips and where are these clips located that are still holding it in?

Had that fascia panel off a couple of times to add bits and pieces. Was going to do a reply when I remembered about blackwolf's post. I'm a lazy sod, easier to copy and paste than to spend 5 mins explaining what someone else has already covered so well Laughing Thumbs Up

Used a claw hammer on the top which did the trick.
