My new MY08
after reading in the forum for some time i decided to trade in my one series BMW and get myself a MY08 110.

this is my first Defender and i am looking forward to take it to my first surftrip in May.

welcome to the forum, there's a few members now on here from Germany, I guess you appreciate hand built cars Thumbs Up

interesting truck, you have pre-boost alloys on an 08MY and aircon with out the brunell grille.

i have been adminiring Land Rovers and vintage british Motorcycles for quite some time now Smile

do you think the pre boost alloys are a technically ok on the TD4 ? the previous owner put them on..

Nice motor and LR registration, I keep looking for a number plate holder like yours but they all seem to have Porche, or BMW written on them Sad

The preboosts should be ok as long as they can take the weight of the 110 and are TUV approved

How can they be fine, when LR state pre 2007 vehicles only. Richard

I edited my post when I noticed the 07 thing Rolling Eyes

In terms of 'fine' I'm sure the change has to do with type approval rather than any design considerations. The GVW hasn't changed has it, nor has the axle or hub design? So fine here, maybe not in Germany.
