Neat trick for the roll up sides (unless you like them to look casually saggy) is to slide some bamboo cane cut to length inside the bottom fold. Keeps the roll up straight, and bottom edge tight against the tub when driving at speed.

My fault, I probably didn't explain it clearly ![]() Trim some cane so its slightly shorter than the length of the side of the canvas, and then slip it in alongside the rope on the bottom seam in the photo below.. ![]() Click image to enlarge When you roll the sides up the cane stops the roll of canvas sagging in the middle ![]() ![]() FFRR Supercharged - Series One - Defender 90 V8 |
