RA of Engineers -MacRobert Award 2016
The winner is being announced tonight, timing is everything apparently there is a vote of some sort today too....

The little company I work for has made it to the final three and is up against JLR and Siemens. I thought some folk might be interested in the JLR development of the Ingenium so for those that like a bit of engineering here are links to the presentation videos for all 3:

Blatchford:
JLR:
Siemens:

Cheers,

PH

Congratulations on making it to the final three, that in itself is a magnificant achievement!

I have watched the Blatchford video and I have to say that I have never seen an above-knee amputee walking with such a natural gait before. I hope that I never need one of your prosthetics, but I am very impressed with what you have achieved. A suberb, multi-discipline engineered product.

Good luck in the final selection! Thumbs Up

Congrats from down under!

Awesome work.

(I did an ME in mechatronics at Melbourne, we were exposed to this stuff on occasion, hyper interesting, but PHD level...) Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...
