With referendum day around a fortnight away, it would be interesting to see what a D2 poll says

The most disappointing thing is the amount of rubbish both sides are stating as fact. You can take almost any fact anyone says, look into it and use reputable establishments to find your information and you'll find the 'fact' is nonsense. It's just so depressing that politicians think so little of the British public.

It doesn't help the slanging that goes on, especially shouting over everyone that speaks.

An interesting program on BBC2 now,

I'm on the fence but leaning toward out & finding it all very frustrating!

"finding it all very frustrating!"
Your not the only one, these silly TV debates add to it,
Especially when people can't behave and have to shout over others.
Take a look at my post with the video on the other 'EU' thread.
That is what Brussels doesn't want anyone over here to know.

I agrree its very frustrating and I am personally torn between my head which is pointing me to remain and the emotional side which is tugging on an innate tribal part of my makeup pointing me towards brexit......what i will say that is politicians on both sides should be ashamed by themselves the debate itself has been woefull with little actual information for the general public to make a decent thought through decision,

Its very clear on here that the forum members who are willing to post are 70:30 ish in favour of brexit and some are more vocal than others and i would suggest if you are a floater this forum is not a place to get a balanced view ....If people are sensible they will look for the pros and cons of the debate before making an importasnt decision as this .........i just dont know where they get this unbiased information from but i would suggest it aint from some of the links posted on here........If anyone has got a link to a site that has an informed proper debate i would be most interested......the loonies on here from both sides need not post!

K9...108 people voted (not many really)in the pole you linked ...............perhaps Martin could let us know how many members we have on here and generally how many are active on a average daily basis then we may get an idea of the number of floaters as i guess most people who have made up their mind will have voted!

Thumbs Up there seems to be very little fact just words & figures manipulated to suit each campaign but that's politics I suppose Rolling Eyes

I'm on a number of forums (as I'm sure we all are) and the same results seem to be cropping up time & time again,
As no poll was on D2 (since Feb!) I thought it would be interesting as there should be a good cross section from all walks of life

What effect does it make the amount of voters here?
I can't see what difference that would make, it's not like as if we are a large slice of the UK regardless.
It just gives a small snapshot of our intention as a Defender community.

I'm sorry but I disagree. I think there's been an awful lot of fact and information. The problem is there's also been an awful lot of lies and misinformation. I also think an awful lot of people are only hearing what they want to hear, regardless if it's true or not.

^^^^ True, at least here on D2 we retain respect for one another regardless of agreement or not. On other sites it's like a boxing ring. Shocked

What annoys me is how people try to force their will on others, individuals decide and they are looking for facts and details.
Not who can shout loudest. Rolling Eyes
