2016 Defender 130 Puma 2.2 HCPU Santorini Black

LR service

Time for the 130 to have an A service once again. It was off to Chipperfield LR for warranty stuff next week so asked them for a quote..... £580! Called Grange £679 and then finally my local Inde at £390. i called my local Stratstone with the price for the Inde and she undercut them at £299 inc vat. Stunned you can have nearly £400 difference in price within 20miles.

I would prefer the Inde but as it's still under LR warranty until Aug 2017 I will go LR. I know it shouldn't be an issue but they do like to wriggle....

Ring around like you do with insurance. It's paid for my insurance by doing that!

2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black

I bought my 2015 90 SW new from Stratstone last May. When I rang them a year later for a price they would not give any discount on their list price, even when I quoted another dealer's price they would not reduce their original (extortionate) quote. I went to another dealer that had serviced my Disco in the past and they undercut Stratstone by £130. Defender 90XS SW
