Gearbox & Transfer box oil - 1998 300 Tdi
Hi all

What would folk recommend as decent fluids for a 1998 300 Tdi Defender’s gearbox and transfer box?

Castrol Magnatec 10W 40 has been used in the engine and Castrol Syntrax Long Life 75W 90 in the diff’s. Just looking for a decent recommendation for the rest of the transmission fluids as there appears to be numerous choices?

Don't know whereabouts in Beds you are (I am MK43) but I have a 1L bottle of LR MTF94 you can have FOC.
Was for the R380 in my 300TDi but having converted to auto it is surplus to requirements.
