Indicators not turning off
I think I have a problem with my indicators (or it may be normal), when you switch on the indicators, mainly left, there do not click off after turning of the road, most vehicle indicators click off just before the steering wheel is level (horizontal), but my defender only clicks off when the steering wheel passes 90 degrees (vertical), so if some circumstances if say bearing/turning left then driving straight, and the steering wheel does not pass the quarter turn to switch off the indicator, they stay ON and you don't realise (with the radio on you can't here the clicking either) and vehicles in side roads think you are turning in before them, which can cause accidents, is there a fault or should I alter my driving style and remember to switch off every time . In my Range Rover its never a problem, anyone else got the same issues JE Zulu 110 now sold

this can be caused by holding down the indicator stalk when turning the wheel past the cancelation mark and snapping of the pin

has the steering wheel been taken off at any time?
if so then the little plastic ring that controls the indicators may have been put back wrongly and the cancle part is in the wrong place ... i
this happend to me when I had the light stalk changed once - easy fit .. once you get the wheel off! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html
