Knocking noise at the back grrr

Hi all
I have noticed a slight nocking noise coming from somewhere at the rear of my 1989 90.
It seems to happen in low gears when taking up the drive strain.
My recent MOT says there is a little play in the rear propshaft
Could this be the problem. If so is an easy replacement to do?

If it does look like it needs replacement I can highly recommend replacing the balljoint assembly complete with the bracket (aka fulcrum) - see last pic here: http://www.defender2.net/forum/post299991.html
