Was wondering how difficult if would be to move the transfer lever over to the left about 5cm?
Obviously not the attachment but rather bend / weld an extra section in the bar. I have checked and It would not foul the gear stick. So, would applying force to bend the bar while fitted do harm to the box/ linkages below? I suspect it would How easy is it to remove the stick to make adjustments on the bench? Its four bolts that are accessed from above so easy to remove

Follow up daft question...
Is it possible to remove, keeping in high range so the car can still be used? |

you could just leave in in H and remove the lever and linkage... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |
