As suggested buy the domain. Don't forget to actually use the email options - I see loads of work vans and adverts where the company has gone to the trouble of having a dedicated domain but then still lists their email address as 'bobsbuilders@btinternet.com' Rolling Eyes

Email redirects are usually free, even actual mailboxes are free with a lot of providers, so no excuse.

Good point.
It just looks amateurish Confused

Best bet for emails is to just buy a Google apps package, in my opinion. £3 per mailbox per month.

Gives you custom email address at your domain (zag@idontlikerustylandies.com), loads of storage, a separate mailbox to your private stuff, and Google drive if you like that sort of thing.

You still have to buy your domain separately.

Also, WordPress for the website, so easy!

It's best to stay away from any "build your website in seconds" companies. Sooner or later they got you in chains.
You're far better of and safe using a webhosting company and if no knowledge, hire a freelance web developer. 28/02 - Loss of a good friend...

Mr Site have doubled there fee,s to £120 for an e mail and simple one page website. Luckily I don,t need it any more but I don,t want to be held at ransome in the future for the website I want to set up. How do you buy your own domain name?
