I have seen horribly deformed beggars on the Howrah bridge in Calcutta, some I am surmising the deformities deliberately inflicted by criminal gangs. Yes I have seen the deformities still occurring in Vietnam from agent orange
How do you equate a child tortured/deformed for financial gain to the torture inflicted on Baby P in the UK? Personally I would prefer to remember the poor Indian woman who would always give a few paisa to blind people. Blinded by cataracts which could be cured by an operation costing a few pounds. Children in particular are innocent victims and should be protected whenever possible be it the innocent victim of sadistic adults in the UK, a bomb victim in Europe, a victim of criminal gangs in the Indian sub continent, or a napalm victim in Vietnam.
