steering box oil leak
Has anyone successfully rebuilt a PAS box?

Mine has had a tiny weep from the blank plug on the front of the box from possibly new, certainly 14 months old and I assume the seal was nicked on assembly.

Recently the leak has got worse so I thought about just replacing this seal in situ if possible.

I have an old unit so I decided to have a play with that first, if it was easy in the vice it should be possible on the car......

Any one got a tip for getting the retaining ring (RTC4404) back in?!
