Corrosion prevention tip.
Recently I've been doing some work on my Puma 90.
This envolved removing the fan cowling under bonnet and removing the 6 screws to do so, this is something I've never done.
To my horror I found a few screws and bolt heads under there that were really rusty that I'll be swapping for SS in good time.
These would need to be aftermarket as there aren't kits for these.

I'd recommend you have a look on your own! If you LR is quite new you could at least use ACF 50 on them.

Sadly I didn't get any photo's but I'll probably take some next time I look into it.

I had a suspicion that it might be the case anyway but it was confirmed once I did look.

Thumbs Up

(I'd recommend to disconnect battery before removing the cowl too Exclamation )

Thanks...
That's a handy tip Steve, thanks matey, although I'm sad to hear yours were a bit of a mess... Shocked

If I can find mine I will certainly be plastering them in ACF for sure... Mr. Green

Never used ACF 50 on mine nor went to SS no need to unless on a new 90 with fixings in new condition.
Went for black Dinitrol and Kurust treated beforehand.
Did all of what I needed to do today.

Just the 6 fan cowl screw heads to do in 4921 black Dinitrol tomorrow once the Kurust cures.

To spot apply I just sprayed the Dinitrol in the cap as liquid and used an artists brush to apply rather than wasting it and masking everything.
Masked and sprayed larger items and areas to protect the paint and give a fine finish.
Even then a touch of overspray in the grille. Rolling Eyes

Artists brush for the Kurust too, and Dinitrolled some brackets etc whilst at it. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

After this yesterday I put Dinitrol on the screw heads with an artists brush. All good. Thumbs Up

Disconnect the battery because it's recommended, even more so in a workshop environment.
What if someone started it and you were near the fan? Shocked Shocked
