New caps on both solved the problem     For a sake of a few quid it's worth a try. Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. | ||

 If it doesn't work, well, it was worth a go but it's possible. It's the same cap that I've had since I've had it in 2010 so possibly from new. Will see how it goes.   Thank-you. | ||

 Mine did the same so I replaced the cap twice.... in the end I had to change the expansion tank and now a year later not had a repeat of the problem and all is OK. Cheers Don. | ||

 Changed the cap, still the level of fluid is dropping so further investigation is required today. | ||

 I'm going to have a proper poke around today as I've got a day off anyway do I'll see what I can find. Being orange OAT coolant it shouldn't be difficult to locate but I think it's out of sight hidden. Doesn't help having orangey driveway grit either.  | ||
