Quite right too IMO.

Although I might just give up on what little I do watch.

If they are that desperate to get cash from everyone who watches their content then maybe they should make bbc subscription only so people have the choice of paying the fee. Ray

An older TV with an analogue tuner would be fine for watching DVDs since it can't receive broadcasts.

Got to say that I think the TV licence is the best value going. Great TV, fantastic radio and I don't know what I'd do without the BBC website.

iPlayer and iPlayer Radio are brilliant and I use them all the time.

I (foolishly) used to have Sky....now that is a colossal waste of money.

I truly hope that the BBC continues to be funded the way it is.

Just my 2p (well £145) worth...Wink

cheers

Love 'em, cant get enough of Top Gear, Dad's Army, Fools 'n Horses...Wink

Actually, there is plenty of original content, cant grumble at all. Mainly watch BBC stuff, cant think of much commercial TV that I watch.

Guess I'm easily pleased..Wink

cheers

The BBC is great value for money especially as mentioned when the radio output and the website are considered. I would not be happy if the press have their way in the review and get the website curtailed so that they can sell subscriptions to their "news sites " . HR064 Hampshire and Berkshire 4x4 Response

The BBC or Iplayer should be SUBSCRIPTION only, see how much money they get then!!The VAST majority of BBC programmes are made from commercial contracts,eg.Chris Evans produces his shows for the bbc,COMMERCIALLY!!SAME FOR Topgear, which was owned mostly by Jeremy Clarkson, all commercial companies,tho... Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
