Bowler 16inch Alloys
Has any one a picture of Bowler 16 inch alloys in white on a black defender ?
Thinking of putting snow tyres on them and a different look for the winter from my standard black alloys

Thanks they are more Cream than white but think it will look good i prefer the 16inch wheels plus Winter Tyres are better and cheaper in 235 on a 16 .

They will be used in harsh conditions in the the Alps

Laughing never understand people who think reversing sensors matter more than what they can actually flipping see.

Never forget a roadtrip to southern morocco - chap in a polo breadvan reversed into a series 1 and said 'didn't see it'. chap was sat behind the wheel with a brilliant look on his face - 'dave, when reversing, things generally come from behind'. perfect timing Rolling with laughter

i'll bear that in mind - think the bowler one will suit..christmas present to myself perhaps! Defender 90 Puma 2.4

Wheels on Very Happy only issue is the spare doesn't fit the existing housing so need to find a solution, happy with the 4 that are on though.

Does mean the steels are going if anyone wants a set of 5 with michelin tyres (all in decent states - one has a bit of a bash / mark / corrosion, and one is still on the landy) pics below...4 have michelin latitudes and 1 has a latitude cross...anyone wants them, make me an offer! now sat in my storage unit in putney...

Depends on if you're collecting or having them delivered. I was passing Bowler and they gave me a better deal for pick-up than any other third party supplier. Had a nice coffee and wander round the workshop before spending a lot more on all the other bits (they're great at up-selling and I'm gullible for Bowler kit Whistle ). But whether they'll offer the same discount as third parties for delivery to Italy, who knows? As such, third parties may be better?

Or, get them sent over on a pallet. These guys have done loads of French deliveries for me, quick quotes, excellent customer service and always the cheapest. You'll need height, width, length and weight of the items, plus description and value. They're a logistics broker so look across all firms for the best quote. Pick up from Bowler (to get the best discount) and they'd be with you in a week. And remember, the tyres weigh a huge amount so perhaps order just the wheels and have the tyres bought/fitted in Italy?

Hi Grenadier,
thanks for your help!
I've contacted Bowler for a best price, but they didn't make a better price then a couple of UK distributor.... Rolling Eyes Shocked

I bought it from a French independent LR dealer who bought it and imported it to France from the Italian JLR dealership where it had been a demo vehicle.
