I know, I know ... Embarassed Embarassed I considered correcting that, but then the spacing between flags would be wrong, and I would have to do all of them. Since some years ago I have had stickers specially made for all countries in my planning, I would have to have them all made again. So for now I let it be, may be some day later... Sorry Eric Wink Cheers, Vincent

2016 mod preview
So much for my 2015 history, here is a little preview of the visible part of a mod planned already last summer for 2016. Whistle
Took months to design and tailor produce this reliability upgrade, but all is ready to roll now. Rolling will be after all the risk of salty roads to Uhldingen-Mühlhofen will have evaporated again. Laughing

Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Switzerland 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Heritage Edition SW Grasmere Green
Well, my list is quite short, car is only 3 month old.

- Wheel's spacers.
- Interior LED bulbs.
- Tarnscheinwerfer.
- Removed bumper end caps.
- Snow cowl.
- Reverse LED bulbs.
- Silver turn signal bulbs.
- Better headlamps bulbs.
- haversack on rear door for small items.
- Bosh Aero wiper blades.

Still a few to go.

Dan, the box arrived in good order. Thumbs Up
Regretfully Swiss customs did not put a green sticker with mention "Abgabefrei" on it. Evil or Very Mad Which is as expected of course, the invoice with import VAT will follow in a week or so. Laughing
The content looks perfect, you made the right choice out of the various options that were available, it seems just what the doctor ordered to match the SVX interior trim. Looks like installation will be pretty straightforward, just a bit fiddly.

Though she has had
Many services..
A full Griffin Exhaust
Full Alive Hose kit

Poor Censored , she will receive a nice shiny galv chassis soon though. 'Because she's worth it' Laughing

Well, the VAT is the least of the problems, if you had it removed by the seller you still save money(8 vs ...)

What I really hate and find wrong is the "handling charge" if the value is over 62 CHF (including shipping)

15. Last, but not least, and this is absolutely "A Bigger Bang". Beginning 2015 JLR Switzerland made their own limited edition, 100 Swiss Legend editions. These Legend editions were supplied with a filled leather tool bag installed very nicely on the safari door. I am not going into detail of how long it took and what we all did, but in the end there are not 100, but 102 of these leather toolbags in Switzerland. It is like the icing on the cake for the SVX. It is not an "SVX" anymore now, it is an "SVX Legend". Whistle Thumbs Up
Please do not ask for the Land Rover part number for these, there is no such number, and there are no more bags or supports anymore either now.

I would have thought that there would be sufficient interest amongst us to have a bag like this made.
