For me I like the rims but they don't go with the defender.
Out of interest what are the weight ratings on the rims? I know several times people have used other manufactured rims and they are underweighted for the vehicle they put them on. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html 90 V8 - Maggie http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic42564.html 110 TD5 - Buggsy http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic59029.html 52HG25 lightweight https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72342.html D3 Hse - Fiona Capri 2l S - Anna Think I might have a problem............ |

With the gross kerb weight of a Bentley weighing in at approximately 1000KG more than a 90 and with a top speed of 205mph and the fact the Defender will be never off-roaded I think they'll be fine! ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Considering the amount of negativity you've received, I think that's an enlightened attitude you've got there. Credit to you. |

I think the grill looks really good. How or who cut it and jointed it?

I would suggest that 3" lowering springs would result in severely restricted suspension travel,...almost on the bump stops?

It all comes down to personal choice. They're not for me but I support your individualism 100%. If we all followed the same path it would be pretty bloody boring.

Even on the road, this is going to mean "very little" suspension travel,..hitting any sort of bump/undulation at any sort of speed will cause the vehicle to hit the stops and result in a very poor ride......IMHO. Pickles. |
