Central Locking Function TD5
Central Locking - TD5

I have a 2005 110 Utility - I find that the Central Locking from the key fob only really works when I am adjacent to the front windows. Is this normal for the function or have I inadvertently covered the internal mechanism? New batteries make no difference to it whatsoever!

Thanks for any comments/advice!

This is normal Confused
Though I had a key from IRB Solutions, that gets rid of your fob (like a modern type key) which has improved the send/receive distance.

I don't have central locking but my immobiliser wants me pretty close to the front of the car.

There have been an odd thread or two about extending the range of the key fob, try having a look at this one...... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic3107.h...larm+range
