Hong Kong 2003 Defender 110 Td5 USW Corris Grey
Looking for the right Fuel Regulator!
I'm looking for a fuel pressure regulator replacement for my TD5 Defender 2003, but I'm confused which one should be order???
LR016318 or LR016319???
Please help, its started leaking fuel! Big Cry

The regulator might be fine, you probably just need a seal/gasket kit. Do it soon though because the fuel will run onto the clutch plates and could make it slip.

TD5 Defender 2003 should be the same as my one i.e. three pipe type regulator, the teltal is the pipe that runs from the regulator to the front of the engine (LR016318)

If you have this pipe, you need later one (2003 should be the later one unless it was sat at a dealer un sold for a few years!):

Check your chase number to be sure which one

Fuel pressure regulator LR016318 is for the Td5 engine in Defenders from chassis number 2A622423 and Discovery 2 from 2A736340

You will require gasket part number MSX000010 also.

And the little rubber O ring that goes under the regulator over the gauze filter. I can't find the part number at the moment I'm afraid....

Got it change last night!
friend of mine has experienced on changing this FPR, so he help me out...
it was pain in the axx to remove one hose connect to the fuel cooler, because lack of space, why would Land Rover engineering could design like that? Rolling Eyes
The rest is that hard, we took away the bonnet to gain more room to work on top of the engine, because some bolts was too tight! Neutral even the engine mount bracket was hard to remove!
NO more fuel leaking now Mr. Green

After I order a new whole set of FPR, I know what you means! Big Cry
some people just change that round thing(regulator, the rest is just housing), and the seal, O ring, that could save lots on $$$! Mr. Green
