I'm not to sure exactly what you would call this item but it was mistakenly bought by my son as a steering guard
![]() Although it was definitely advertised as a Defender fitment. It appears that the small lip sits on the top of the bumper an then bolts somewhere to the chassis underneath allowing a winch cable to pass through the aperture, it is also pre-drilled with a number of holes as shown in pictures. It is very well made and has never been fitted or used although it does have a little surface scratching. Price is £35 delivered. I have just been informed by a very helpful Chris86 that it is a Lowline concealed winch mount as used by EA and some utilities companies. It mounts the winch between the chassis legs behind/below the bumper. The winch is mounted "on it's back", it's baseplate facing the front of the vehicle.. Once again many thanks to Chris86 for his help. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Looking for £35 delivered.
