Gauge lights flicker on braking

Hi All,

I've had a bit of a problem with my cluster gauge lights flickering whenever the brake pedal is pressed. This has been going on for a few months now and I thought it was about time I asked about it. Anyone else had this or have an idea what could be causing it?

Sounds awfully like an earthing problem somewhere. I'd be carefully checking the brake light circuit earthing (all points), & also the earthing for the instrument lighting, column stalks etc.

Thanks, found it in the end, was a bad bulb that I thought I had already checked, replaced with Wipac LED lights now.
