I doubt I'll even notice one driving past.
In other words, just like the current Landrover vehicle line-up, with the sole exception of the Defender. I can't see any of them crossing the Darien Gap, traversing the BAM road, being used for mountain/cave rescue, carrying troops into battle, mounting a cherry-picker, towing a 4-ton trailer, having a workshop body fitted, or any of the thousands of other things that the classic Landrover vehicle has doen so well for over 65 years.

Wife's considering one as a replacement to her estate (recognising that it's going to be vastly inferior to the Defender when it comes to off-road/towing) but seeing as how I've only driven her car twice this year, and been in it less than half a dozen times in the same period, I don't really care...but as a soft roader goes I don't think it looks too bad.

I prefer it to the Porsche Macan too. Well done Jaguar. We could hardly have expected Jaguar to produce a Defender style replacement so all said and done I think they've done a good job with this one.
