Gents
I reckon the clutch and rear wheel bearings are goosed on the 110, thing is are these jobs for the driveway mechanic. I've done the clutch on a series 3, so I'm OK with tools, I suppose that I'm after a bit of reassurance really before I dive in As usual any help mucho appreciated Wes Oh woe, oh woe My crusty old landrover, It will not go. |

The earlier adjustable type wheel bearings are a piece of cake. Take a look on YouTube as there's some enlightening videos there. ![]() |

Clutch is easy enough but not for the faint-hearted. Remove the transfer box, then the gearbox. If you're just doing the clutch and don't need to extract the gearbox you can roll it back on a jack without having to lower it and get it out from underneath.
It is a fairly major undertaking but there is nothing particularly difficult, bear in mind that you'll be working underneath with seriously heavy bits perched above you on a jack (transfer box and gearbox) and if they fall on you it may be life changing. Be sensible! |
