Free style Alloys with Dakar tyres

I have a set of Free Style alloys which were on the Defender when I bought it.
Since changing to a set of standard steel wheels I don't see me going back to the alloys instead getting another set of steel wheels with a more aggressive tyre for the worse weather.
Should I sell them complete, split the rims off the tyres or go for a swap?
