I love the colour too.
I didn't have time to stop & have a good look, but it seemed that if you took off the roof rack + side steps, and swapped back to the original wheels, it would look pretty much as it did when it left the showroom. Would it originally have had a galvanised front bumper? I'd imagine it was a pretty rare beast nowadays and, as familymad suggests, probably an appreciating classic. Perhaps a clue for the future? It won't necessarily be the 'never off-roaded' or 'locked in a garage', two a penny, modded, XS specced, Dinitroled to death, tarts handbags most of drive today that will be the classics of the future, but the 'rarer' basic specced hard tops, SW's, hi-caps, 130's, etc, that have worked for a living & survived. Dons tin hat & ducks for cover! ![]() |

I agree with you on the classic front, a no mileage basic car will be the one to have in 50 years time

Yes, they came with a galv bumper. My 90 had one, although it survived 30 years, it's a bit bent, so won't be going back on.
Within 400 yds of my home there are 3 old County's at separate houses. |
