Tyre Dilemma
Apologies if this has been covered before.

I am unsure which set of part worn tyres to use, i have two sets one of which i am giving to a mate as i owe him a few quid and he is not fussy which ones he gets.

Cooper STTs 285/75 R16
BFG MTs old pattern 285/75 R16

Tread depths on both types are similar so not really a factor.

I will not be doing alot of off roading, so more than likely will lean towards whichever tyres people think through experience have the better road manners. Have always had BFG but am curious about Coopers Whistle

Coopers in my experience are noisier and will not give you the life expectancy of BFGs. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
