I clicked on the link and a pictureless auction for a £500 pencil came up!

Don't think that'll go for anything let alone for £12k!

Yes, that's a very recent and bizarre development!

I can only assume that the seller has got wind of this thread (perhaps he really is a member of this forum) and in a moment of self-doubt and shame has decided to edit his listing (the pencil has the same item number and is listed jn the Landrovers section).

I wonder if his pencil is as impressive as his Landrover! I might ask a question to see if for £500 it comes with a little rubber on the end.
