United Kingdom 1999 Defender 90 Td5 HT Woodcote Green
When I went to the Pyrenees I put all camping stuff in a cheap second hand roof box . Only cost £25 and did a great job of keeping all stuff dry and did not have all the flapping about that a tarp would have done Thumbs Up

Chile 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey
Caterham

I use 2 bags like this one with pretty good results (6 years of use).
Better than the tarp and easy to load. Also when not in use you can storage in a minimal space
