Sonic maybe selling the 4x4 sprinter lwb if you need more room!!!!! Still considering 130 or lwb vw transporter, not sure if vw would give enough ground clearance but would be great on road.

Hi Sonic
Was very surprised to see you are thinking about selling the truck, whats the reasoning. Vans are grt for space but not up to much in the rough. Ours is grt on muddy fields and snowy forest tracks but anything to undulating and it time to lock the diffs and i think the departure angle is crap. No good for off road trip unless they are very tame. How did the 130s get on in the desert and off road in general. I am thinking about getting rid of 110 and the van but not sure if 130 will be too much of a compromise all round. You going to Peterborough show. |

Hi Andrew so how did the 130 get on in the desert and uk greenlanes. Have you found the extra size of the 130 and bigger turning circle a problem.
Cheers Mark |

No not at all, I am very impressed with the ability of the 130. It got further up the sand dunes than the Defenders with TC (130s dont have TC). In Fact I am so impressed I am replacing our 3 year old 110 csw with another 130. ![]() Click image to enlarge 130's have feeling's as well you know ![]() |
