France 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Corris Grey
Experienced this just yesterday. Drove to a meeting in Geneva at a hotel near the airport. Arrived with time to spare. Entrance to the carpark the sign clearly states 'Level -1: 2.05m. Level -2+: 1.90m'. So, in I go thinking I will find a spot if patient. Follow the corkscrew road down a level to be presented with a barrier at Level -1 for 'deliveries' or Private spaces. No public parking (and no information telling me at the top). So, do I reverse back up the corkscrew or blag my way in? Obviously the latter....fortunately.

But for EricVV and other GVA visitors, avoid Movenpick/ICC GVA's carpark (or deliver them something...).

Obviously I was lucky. I did witness (with a bunch of squaddies in a minibus) a woman ask her friends to step out of her RR and get them to lift up the red/white hatched barrier so she could drive under. We watched (stunned) as they did and she proceeded to take a ticket and enter the carpark (in Bournemouth). We followed a few moments later to find her wedged under the roof of the carpark, having concertina'd the roof like a sardine tin (excuse mixed metaphors). It took all 8 of us to weigh the car down, plus deflate tyres, for her to drive out. Lord only knows the cost of the damage... Whistle Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Drove over to the car park this evening after work and it does fit. Security guard was watching, probably to make sure I didn't hit the lights suspended below the ceiling. It was tight - anyway this 2.0m car park works for 90s on 235/85 tyres.

It's an office car park and there's no board outside to check the height against.

Thumbs Up My wife used my old 110 during the snow a couple of years back and there were only certain spaces she could use due to the height and length of it, helped she was the ladies trial champion 2 years on the trot, scared the crap out of the security guards a few times squeezing it through the bollards Rolling with laughter 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Mine is 1.92m measured yesterday as I didn't know. I've put a sticker next to the clocks saying 1.95 to be sure!

BUT....

Mine is on 18 wheels and has been lowered
