My New/Quite Old Station Wagon
Okay, so I'm sorry Martin if this is in the wrong section, but maybe there's no correct section?

I've returned to the dark ways, I've lost an inch. Yes, it's a 109 Wagon, not quite a Defender I know, but most of us are into the stuff that led to the Defender.

This is what I've bought to replace my 110 tdci, which I haven't even sold yet... (not too bright, I are)

Not perfect, but plenty good enough for me. An original, well preserved LHD Export Market 109 Station Wagon, ten seat, with a rocket-ship two and a quarter Diesel motor. Solid chassis, never been welded;

Military style front bumper additions, but will need a grille at some point.

Time warp interior,

Beautiful. They have always been my favourite Land Rover, well the series 2 version anyway. I have always wanted one but it has never been the right time.

Yeah, I love the colour too, I'd always assumed it's where the current (and gorgeous) Keswick Green came from.

I drool when I'm driving it. Rubber mats.

Yeah 2s are lovely, but there are not as many here, although the ultimate for me would be a S1 107 Station Wagon. A S3 is okay with me for my needs -as I'm happy to use it daily, it's actually quite close to practical. Close, but not actually there...
