Right, not for the defender as it has an auxiliary into the stereo but I need an fm transmitter for the jimny as it is fitted with a pokey custom fit clarion hu which is a nightmare to add a aux to. So I have need of a reliable and simple bluetooth fm transmitter preferably with a usb output so I can charge my phone on longer journeys while still listening to music or the direction lady. Any recommendations? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

I've had belkin stuff in the past and it's too sketchy in the quality control department for my liking. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Yeah being a clarion it has only clarion accessories it can talk to and that means a cd autochanger which in turn means hacking that to be a sensible aux is either too much of a faf with a soldering iron or well expensive to buy. Add that while the unit is mostly double din it is gently curved in both planes and rounded of corner so whilst an adapter is available all the flat faced after market stuff looks like a foot in a glove. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
