110 rear speaker cable route?
Hello all,

It's raining so I thought I'd get my rear speakers working. Problem is that one side I get no signal, and the other I get music but on occasion it is distorted.

I've swapped speakers from side to side, which confirms that the no signal issue is in the wiring or the head unit. On the other side the distortion continues meaning either I have two duff speakers or again dodgy wiring/head unit.

The wires at the speakers are coloured thusly:

LHS Orange/Black Yellow/Black
RHS Green/Black Blue/Black

Wires at the rear of the head unit aren't the same though, but it has a handy wiring reference stuck to it which is helpful (it's not LR original but some 'upgraded' 垃圾).

The cables all disappear promptly in to a loom that then disappears itself behind the aircon and what not. So I'm thinking of tapping into the rear of the head unit loom directly and running my own cable rather than try to find where the originals have chaffed or whatever - question:

What is the route to the rear of the vehicle? (110 puma SW)

Any advice appreciated Thumbs Up Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

If you are looking at running new cables, the easiest way is up the side of the windsceen behind the black trim and then along the edge between the roof liner and the side panels. You can then drop them down behind the trim to the rear speakers.
