[Free] Defender or Series Roof Bars
I have a set of defender or Series Land Rover Roof Bars for sale.
They're manufactured by Aiko Design and are brand new having never been used.
They were bought for using on my old series 3 Hard Top for lugging bits and bobs from the DIY store while working on my house, but they were never used after I converted it to a truck cab instead.
They're fairly crude and industrial, Thule they are not!!! The clamps around the gutter offer little or no protection to your paintwork.
But all the parts are there as well as a rudimentary instruction sheet and they look strong. The main cross bars being made from 40mm box section steel.
So if you've got an old series or a working defender these may be for you.
I've no use for them myself since the cross section of the bars are too large for using with my Thule kayak carrier and other roof bar accesories.
Free as long as you're prepared to come and be collect them from near Brigg, N. lincs.
I've looked at couriers but due to the weight and size it's going to be expensive, so whoever wants them can have them for nowt as long as you come and get them.
