2013 2.2 DEFENDER EGR COOLER FAULT
HI GUYS,

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS HAPPEN YET?

STARTED LEAKING WATER INTO EGR AND BACK INTO MOTOR BLOWING WHITE SWEET SMELLING SMOKE.

NOT A HAPPY DEFENDER OWNER ATM!

The cooler is faulty. I was just wanting to know if anyone else has had this happen. I found a couple from other posts including rangers etc.

The warranty on the car has been void due to it having an aftermarket intercooler and exhaust.

And remap ? Who supplied the add ins only thing Iv heard about egr failing is the stainless tubes fail and leak water into the air side of engine only known this to happen a couple of times on 2.4 TDCI 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs
3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P
hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit
ashcroft atb in transfer box
6 speed auto in build
