It's all a bit sad really. Sad that Mr Clarkson chose to act in this way. It was all too obvious he was heading for a fall given the increasingly controversial opinions and comments made by him in the past. I am glad he has been sacked, it's for his own good. if his moral compass and sense of entitlement has become so distorted then he has no place as a (well) paid employee of the BBC. I certainly hope charges against him will be pressed by the victim and criminal proceedings followed. A prison cell would certainly be a good place for him to reflect upon his actions!!!

So you think Clarkson should go to prison for slapping a producer? Meanwhile there are armed muggers etc getting community service.

Not necessarily prison, but if he is not punished under the law I would be disappointed.
With fame and fortune goes an increased obligation to toe the line, behave respectfully to persons in positions of less wealth and power, and uphold standards of behaviour. What sort of message is given when these so called celebrities get away with it becasuse they are rich and famous? |

Some people need to get real
. You're going to lock someone up because they are a celebrity to make a point? That would instantly fill the prisons. Neither you or I would get locked up (unless you've got previous).
So Clarkson who is, by everyone's admission (probably including his) a bit of a c  k, has been sacked. Can't say I'm surprised given the circumstances. BBC have been trying to get rid of Top Gear for a while.
So if the 3 amigos come as a package, what do we think they have been offered by another channel? Is this a set up so they can move to HBO?  New project and it's green: www.projectoverland.info |

I don`t understand this. He hit a work mate. = instant dismissal.
They should have sent him packing their and then. He is the kind of stone age dinosaur the motor trade does`ent need. I met him once and hope to never speak to him again. Excuse the spelling I`am better with spanners and wires. |

If all they are doing is not renewing his contract does that mean we get to see the last 3 episodes ? After all why are we fee paying fans being made to suffer because of his indiscretion? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
