2004 Defender 110 Td5 XS DCPU Loire Blue

Help please 2004 td5 bulkhead with abs an traction control l

Hi guys I need so help. I brought a bulkhead with a xs td5 loom as standard. I need to remove the abs wiring from the loom Or take out the pins which feed the power to you abs unit. I have fitted the bulkhead to my 110 build an I know have power going to the loom. Does any Ono on here know which wires to discount the abs so the lights don't come up on the dash. I've also noticed the abs light also keeps the hand break light on. I need the loom to run my electric windows an heated front screen. An the normal hand break switch. I would fit abs to vehicle but I am running out of money to keep throwing at it. It would be great if sum Ono would be able to advise

As far as I know (not 100% sure),there are 2 resistors fitted inline on the handbrake/low fluid AND ABS dashboard warning lights on NON-ABS fitted vehicles,so if you use your old non-ABS instrument panel I think you just have to leave the abs connections,er, un-connected,as you have no abs pump or ecu,this won't be difficult.

Can you not just remove the wire. From the back of the dash light

You have to add extra wiring to one of the warning light plugs, so that the wiring loops back on itself a couple of times
