She's a beauty, same colour as mine. I have the sawtooth wheels, and they will look grand when you get them. Enjoy..

Lovely, what do you mean by brokers? Who qualifies for NFU discount?
Going to dealer tomorrow to discuss new 110 utility wagon. Jim |

It is also important to work out exactly what the 10% discount is taken from - the basic vehicle price ex-Factory, the total price including extras, the sticker price on the window, the price after various other charges have been added - and always remember the VAT element (which cannot be discounted but might be reclaimed). I'm always interested when when someone starts talking discounts - sometimes the headline discount isn't all that it appears. Certainly I'd recommend investigating the broker approach if you have no trade in - I have several business colleagues who use this approach, they apparently save thousands and get zero grief as the vehicle handover is often by the same dealer who claims they cannot give you a discount face to face. |

All discounts I'm talking here are based on list price including vat for me. List price minus 15%. If you get a calculator you could probably work it out. Example: Take the list price as £31,000 inc vat and various options, multiply by the discount, say 10% = £3100 discount. Obviously you'll have to add road tax to the final price.
I'm sure there are tax dodges, vat reclaims, tax write offs which lots of people 'talk' about but that's up to you and your accountant! |
