paint on front screen header -advice pls
Afternoon all

Need some thoughts and guidance from you clever lot....

Just had the front screen replaced in SWMBO defender that we bought new in July 2013.

Whilst cleaning off the lube following the screen fitment on the lhs of the bottom corner of the lower screen frame (behind the gutter running side to side) is a developing rust bubble.

There appears to be a diagonal paint line here - what is it ?

The rhs is fine and this line can clearly be seen.

I'm presuming this is base material corrosion ?

Dealer says the usual unless it's perforation it ain't covered so will have that battle to contend with !

Would really appreciate your guidance or experience of dealing with it.

It is definitely covered under warranty as loads have had the same problem.
If you have any problems get Pete on the case from LR customer relations on here.
It is a well documented problem that your dealer would know about.

mine was done under warranty has been fine since DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
