wet wipes is what we used on our 18 day trip to North Norway and back ...
cheap, reliable and easy to use. But if you really need to have a proper wet wash then I would go for the hot water and sponge rather than the shower set up as its less fiddly in cold climes like Scotland will be KISS principle every time Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |

Thanks for all the replies.... I think I'm in the soft section of camping and will go with some heated water and a shower head..... I'm too old to be showing in a water fall. Obviously some of you guys have not encountered Scottish weather!!! Thanks again

I did a Transafrica trip with the defender a few years ago and splashed out on an electric shower unit before I left. Used it twice in the whole year, too much of a faff. Bucket and sponge a much better option

Plenty of opportunities for 'wild' showers in the Highlands!
My old static I lived in had a 'hot tub' - Tin bath, some old fire bricks and a spring! Chris |

Plenty of public swimming pools or leisure centres in Scotland where you can get a shower!
