wiring being very land rover today
Hi all. I have 2.4 110 puma. Washed it yesterday. Went to drive off the drive last night and the cab filled with smoke and all the head and side lights went out. Looking this morning and 1 side light fuse is blown all others are OK. I was having a coffee and a think and the horn came on and would not go off. Pulled horn fuse stayed on until I disconnected both front loom plugs under the bonnet. Any one any ideas about what is going on?

Difficult to surmise. We could theorise all day on this. Possible water ingress into the 10as unit? Are the footwells and underdash dry or show signs of water ingress? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Foot wells wet. Horn is now intermittent, seems like some sort of earthing issue to as when I touch it the horn goes again. Are the headlights working off 1 relay and if so which one. High beam is working though.

Sounds like the 10as unit as stated which would be a dealer fix. Liaise with your local dealer or independant or a mate with a code reader perhaps and get them to stick it on the diagnostics that'll determine exactly what's going on.

Alternatively disconnect the battery, remove the relays under the drivers dash and try and get a fan heater or some warmth in there in an attempt to dry everything out.

Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
