Masai do similar too I believe. What is the light transmission? If I remember rightly there is a legal limit.

Just been re-reading this thread (always a treat and an inspiration) and just noticed the rear number plate light changed during this process from the original one to the new one in this shot. Can I ask where you got this one from? My original one is looking tatty and I'd rather replace it with something a bit less clunky. Cheers A |

Looks amazing! I'm now starting to wonder whether I should tinker with my Aintree Green 90SW.
Can I ask what the grille and lights (front & back) you used are? I love the look of them all together! |

Ken, can I ask, are they 16" or 18" Bowlers? I'd pretty much decided on 16's mainly because the wheel/tyre package is noticeably less expensive and that's what the Defender has as standard. But I'm now thinking it's probably not worth skimping for the sake of a few hundred more pounds - in the scheme of things it's irrelevant. Going to the factory in the morning to pick up some bits and pieces and I need to decide then edit...ok, I've just seen pics of the 16's and it's now very obvious these are 18's. Think I'll be spending more! |

Surprisingly, after deciding on 18's in my mind, I'm now at the factory and going for 16's

That'll be a little while...don't have the Defender yet
I did take some pics around the unit while I was there. I've popped them here: http://www.defender2.net/forum/post454207.html#454207 My hall is quite full of wheels! Click image to enlarge |
